I am originally from New York but I moved to Israel after college after having visited numerous times and feeling a strong connection to the way life in Israel is lived in continuity with the country's history. I have lived in Jerusalem since 2011 and loves the city's cool dry air as well as its rich cultural diversity and varied history.
I love walking through the old streets of Jerusalem and trying to connect with the experiences of others walking its streets both today and hundreds of years ago. I also love leading hikes in the outdoors and discussing the connections between the landscape, local plants, and biblical stories and religious traditions.
