Born in Germany, raised in Luxembourg talking 2 languages at home - German & French, I went to the European School in Luxembourg.
I have been living in Israel for more than 35 years, studied Linguistics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I worked as a lecturer while completing my Ph.D. thesis in Old French linguistics. Eventually I gave up university and was trained as a bodywork practitioner and for 15 years I had my own practice.
Since 2012 I have been tourguiding and this is where it all comes together - I love to take individuals and groups throughout Israel and have them discover this marvelous region.

For individual tourists, I recommend renting a car, or else hire one of the selected cab drivers I work with.
In Jerusalem it is best to walk.
The light train is also a good option for larger distances.
