While looking at the map Bnei Brak seems like a suburb of Tel Aviv, but when you get there you discover that although it is close, it is completely different.
is a city that most of its population are religious orthodox jews
and as such they have their own culture, customs and food.
In a way, Bnei Brak is a time capsule from the ancient Shtetl style.
Being an Orthodox Jew myself, I know this culture and will be happy to share with you some of the nicest (and tastiest) things about this culture.
During this short tour I will reveal to you the special things in Bnei Brak´s everyday life, the places, the people and the stories behind them.
Together we will experience the atmosphere of the street, trade, synagogues, yeshivas (religious schools) and get a taste of authentic local food.
