DAY 1: Jerusalem old city
Wednesday / Departure: Jerusalem / Overnight: Jerusalem
This three-day tour starts by exploring ancient Jerusalem and a magnificent panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives. From here you will drive to the Old City of Jerusalem. You will visit the tomb of King David and the room of the Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Wander through the newly restored Jewish quarter to the Roman Cardo, which used to form the main shopping street in temple times.
You will then proceed through the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall. The tour will then move onto the Christian quarter and a walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
The tour then leaves Jerusalem and continues to Bethlehem . From there you will drive by Rachel's tomb on the way to the Church of the Nativity and manger's square. The tour then returns to Jerusalem.
Overnight stay in Jerusalem.
DAY 2: Jerusalem new city
Thursday / Overnight: Jerusalem
Day two is dedicated to modern Jerusalem and starts with a trip to the Israel Museum. Here you will see their extensive collection of artifacts fascinating exhibition. The Israel Museum is also home to the Shrine of the book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem which represents Jerusalem during the second temple period.
From here you will proceed to the Knesset, Israel's parliament, following which you will continue to Mount Hertzel and a tour around the military cemetery, and then onto visit the Holocaust museum, Yad Vashem.
Finally, you will visit the ultra-orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim here you have the chance to learn about their unique lifestyle.
In the evening enjoy a Middle Eastern dinner followed by the spectacular "sound & light" show at the Tower of David museum.

DAY 3: Dead Sea / Masada
Friday / Tour ends in Jeruslalem
On the final day of the tour, you will leave Jerusalem and drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea at almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level is the lowest point on earth. Having seen the Shrine of the Book the day before you will now stop at Qumeran to visit the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
The tour continues to drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to the ancient fortress of Masada. Here you will ascend by cable car and tour around the peak which displays the fascinating archaeological remains of where Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 AD, including the bathhouse and synagogue. Marvel at the detail and painstaking effort that has gone into this restoration before you descend by cable car.
The final stop will be to relax on the shores of the Dead Sea. Here you will be able to cover yourself with the mineral-rich muds and experience floating in the Dead Sea * and benefit from its therapeutic properties.
The tour will then return to Jerusalem - Tour ends in Jerusalem
