The Menachem Begin centre, situated in the heart of Jerusalem and on the outskirts of the Old City
, is an interactive experiential exhibition filled with multimedia.
The museum situated inside the Menachem Begin center tells the story of Israel’s history through the life and times of Menachem Begin.
The exhibition guides visitors through historical reconstructions, reenactments, interactive touch-screen exhibits, rare dramatic documentary videos and interesting presentations. This is all done in a surround sound environment engaging all your senses at once.
Visitors are invited and encouraged to engage in the interactive elements of the exhibition.
Take part in different chapters of Menachem Begin’s life, travelling through time to his childhood in Poland, to his years pre the State of Israel as a commander of the Irgun (pre state military organization), through to his time as Leader of the Opposition and finally as Prime Minister of Israel, where he achieved a peace agreement with Egypt in 1979.
This is a thoroughly enjoyable attraction, suitable for all ages and designed to engage you in as many different ways as possible.
