Golan and Galilee - Three day tour

DAY 1: Caesarea / Megiddo / Haifa Sunday / Departure: Tel Aviv / Overnight: Kibbutz Guesthouse
The tour will take you to the first stop; the ancient city of Caesarea , capital of Judea under the Romans. Here you will get the opportunity to explore the excavations of the city, the port and the beautiful aqueducts. You will also view the amphitheatre that has been painstakingly resolved to its former glory and now functions as a concert venue. 

When you’ve soaked up all you can from Caesarea the tour will move on to Megiddo, said to be the site of the Armageddon. Here, delve further into Israel’s ancient history by exploring the archaeological excavations. 

The next stop on the tour is to the Druze village; Daliat El Carmel . Enjoy some traditional Druze hospitality and sample some of the delicious treats on offer. 

The final stop of the day will be via Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of Haifa; including Haifa Bay and the Bahai Gardens . 

You will then be transported to your accommodation for the night in a Kibbutz Guesthouse.
DAY 2: Safed / Golan Heights Monday / Overnight: Kibbutz Guesthouse
Day two starts by journeying to Safed, known for its strong connections to Kaballah (Jewish mysticism). Here you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most important sites including the towns ancient synagogue. There will also be a stop at a local artists’ colony. 

From there your journey will continue deep into the Golan Heights where you will stop to see the former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra and Katzrin , which is referred to as the capital of the North. Whilst you’re in the area there is no better place to stop than the local Golan winery. Take a tour of the winery which includes a tasting and sample some of the finest wines on offer. 

The last stop of the day will be the Kessem Hagolan multimedia experience. 

You will then be transferred to your accommodation for the night, in a Kibbutz Guesthouse . 
DAY 3: Nazareth / Tiberias / Capernaum Tuesday / Tour ends in Jerusalem
The final day of the tour starts with a trip to Nazareth and a chance to relive some of the defining moments of Christian history. There delve into ancient Christianity and visit the Church of the Annunciation
Then head to the beautiful 
seaside town of Tiberias which lies on the shores of the Sea of Galilee . There visit Capernaum and the ruins of the ancient synagogue and then the Octagonal Church of St. Peter. 

The next stop on the path of Christian heritage is the Mount of Beatitudes. This is said to be the place from where Jesus delivered his sermon. 

The tour will then start to make its way back to Jerusalem, but before dropping you off at the final destination the group will stop at the ancient cities of Beit Shean and Beit Alpha where you will be treated to some of the most exquisite mosaics in the world. 

The tour will come to an end in Jerusalem that evening.
