The tour will take you to the first stop; the ancient city of Caesarea
, capital of Judea under the Romans. Here you will get the opportunity to explore the excavations of the city, the port and the beautiful aqueducts. You will also view the amphitheatre that has been painstakingly resolved to its former glory and now functions as a concert venue.
When you’ve soaked up all you can from Caesarea the tour will move on to Megiddo, said to be the site of the Armageddon. Here, delve further into Israel’s ancient history by exploring the archaeological excavations.
The next stop on the tour is to the Druze village; Daliat El Carmel . Enjoy some traditional Druze hospitality and sample some of the delicious treats on offer.
The final stop of the day will be via Mount Carmel
for a panoramic view of Haifa
; including Haifa Bay and the Bahai Gardens
You will then be transported to your accommodation for the night in a Kibbutz Guesthouse.
